The goal was to send a promotional gift to these network partners, so that they would keep HBO MAX programming top-of-mind during their decision making.
The package included an HBO MAX branded headset and instructions to visit the website from their smartphone to be able to access the experience.
The experience consisted of a living room with 3 large screens that each displayed a variety of programming content. Each title presented a different opportunity for the user to interact with the content by answering a true or false or a trivia question about the movie or TV show, in addition to playing the trailer.
This experience was built on a Web VR platform and is fully accessible through a website, with or without VR goggles.
The platform allows us to track users and determine usability and ROI.
